1 Dead, Another Seriously Injured In Stoughton Crash
The crash on Turnpike Street, where a black Cadillac with two occupants and a Toyota Highlander collided, officials said.

STOUGHTON, MA — A driver is dead and another person is seriously injured following a two-car crash in Stoughton early Wednesday morning, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said Wednesday afternoon.
The crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of Turnpike Street, where a black Cadillac with two male occupants and a Toyota Highlander driven by a Quincy woman collided, according to officials.
All three people involved were taken to the hospital, where the Cadillac's driver — Michael Unman, 59, of Pennsylvania — died, officials said.

Unman's passenger, also from Pennsylvania, suffered serious injuries. The Toyota's driver was heading home from working an overnight shift at a local hotel when the crash occurred and has since regained consciouness, according to officials.
Both cars have been towed to a secure facility and no charges or citations have been filed as of Wednesday afternoon.

As of 1 p.m., a portion of Route 139 (Turnpike Street) in Stoughton remained closed with wires in the road where a telephone pole was damaged by one of the cars involved in the crash.
