2008 Stoughton High Alumni Receives Medical Degree
Matthew Petersile received an M.D. from the Boston University School of Medicine.

BOSTON, MA—Matthew Petersile, a 2008 graduate of Stoughton High School, received a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from the Boston University School of Medicine during a ceremony held at Agganis Arena in Boston on Thursday, May 12, 2016. He is the son of David and Joyce Petersile of Stoughton.
Matthew earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Boston University in 2012, graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa.

During Medical School, Matthew was honored with induction into The Boston University School of Medicine Chapter of the Gold Humanism Honor Society having demonstrated exceptional clinical competence, interpersonal skills, and a humanistic approach to the practice of medicine and community service.
Following graduation, Matthew will serve his residency in Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center.
