1. Fireworks Forecast
Stoughton holds its pre-July 4th fesitivies Tuesday evening, July 3 this year. The events include a carnival at the O'Donnell Middle School parking lot (5 - 9:30 p.m.); a concert featuring the Ronnie Lewis Expedition at the high school football field (7 - 9:30 p.m.); and the annual fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

Good news is it looks like the weather will cooperate. According to the National Weather Service, the forecast in Stoughton for Tuesday, July 3 during the day will be "Sunny, with a high near 85. Northwest wind 6 to 9 mph." This evening there will be, "increasing clouds, with a low around 65. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 7 mph in the evening."
The forecast for July 4th sounds more iffy, however. According to the National Weather Service: "A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Southwest wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms."

2. Kids Eat For Free at IKEA
According to the IKEA website, Get one kid’s combo meal for free at ($2.49 value) from Sunday, July 1 to Wednesday, July 4, 2012.
Limit one meal per child per visit. No adult purchase necessary. Kids under 12 only and child must be present.
3. Bingo at the Senior Center
The will hold its weekly game of BINGO at 12:45 p.m.
4. Reminder: Senior Center Closed on July 4th
The Stoughton Senior Center will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. The Senior Center will reopen on Thursday, July 5.
