1. Stoughton Youth Soccer Registration

Registration is open for the Fall 2012 season for Stoughton Youth Soccer.

Early registration and early bird rates will close June 30. Rates will increase July 1. No more registrations will be accepted for in-house or travel program after August 15, with the exception of the U16/U18 divisions, which will be temporarily held open.

2. Looking Ahead: The 2012-2013 Stoughton Public Schools Calendar

While the 2011-2012 school year just ended, and the summer just started, it's never too early to look ahead to the upcoming school year.

3. Chess Club

The Chess Club meets in the young adult area of the  on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

4. Senior Center Events

  • 9 a.m. - Walking Club
  • 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Total Body Conditioning
  • 10:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Senior Serenader Choral Practice
  • 12:30 p.m. - MOVIE: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close
  • 12:45 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. - Gentle Yoga
  • 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. - Strength Training
  • LUNCH (11:15 a.m.) - Egg Salad
  • 12 p.m. - Jessica's Lunch

5. Thursday: Kenny Wormald, "One Human Race" Coming to Local High School

The Project Moves Dance Company is bringing "One Human Race," a critically-acclaimed dance show that has moved and inspired sold out audiences across New England, to Oliver Ames High School (100 Lothrop St. in North Easton) on Thursday, June 28.  

Its powerful messages of human acceptance and respect are the cornerstones of the Project Moves non-profit mission.  

The show will feature Stoughton native Kenny Wormald, star of the most recent theatrical release of "Footloose."

General Admission is $25, VIP seats are $100, although there are a number of free seats for middle and high school students.
