The following is a release from the Jewish War Veterans (JWV) Post 735: Rabbi Joseph B. Meszler of Temple Sinai in Sharon was the guest speaker at the November Breakfast meeting of the Jewish War Veterans (JWV) Post 735. He spoke in an open forum style and the group discussed the following topics "The implications of the Palestinian bid, at the UN, for statehood"; "The results of the prisoner exchange for Gilad Shalit" and "What is happening to the north of Israel with Hezbollah, Syria and Iran." The attendees participated with many questions and comments and were very interested in the Rabbi's perspective of the affairs of Israel. Rabbi Meszler has led many trips to Israel and has felt extremely safe during all his trips. He also stressed that tourism is still an extremely important part of Israel's economy.  The JWV Post 735 serves Stoughton, as well as other area towns.
