Election Preview: Presidential Primary — Super Tuesday, March 6, 2012

Previewing Tuesday's presidential primary election. The polls will be open on March 6 from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Massachusetts, along with Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vermont and Virginia head to the polls on Tuesday, March 6.

Voters taking a Republican, Democrat and Green-Rainbow party ballot will be asked to make their selections for presidential nominee, as well as for State Committee man, State Committee woman and Town Committee.

The Republican presidential race is contested with four candidates—former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and Texas Congressman Ron Paul—still vying for that party’s nomination.
