Stoughton’s Sammarco to be Roasted Saturday Night

On March 10, from 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at the VFW Hall, the will roast one of Stoughton's most popular characters. 

Mike Sammarco, best known for his meatballs at the Sons of Italy Hall, and his decades of service to the youth of Stoughton through Babe Ruth baseball, will be put through the ringer for charity!  A portion of the proceeds will benefit Stoughton Babe Ruth Baseball and the Chamber's charitable activities.

Confirmed on the guest roasting Panel are Town Manager Frank Crimmins, AT&T/Cellco CEO Rick Kaplan, Realtor Fred Yaitanes, former Selectman Joe Mokrisky, Youth baseball honchos Donnie Connors, Dennis Gada, Dan Skiba & Rich Jasmin; DPW Superintendent John Batchelder; Planning Board Chairman Joe Scardino; Friends for Seniors volunteer Don Interrante, Tom Flaherty, and Mike Sammarco’s son, Mike.

The event will be hosted by About Town’s own Mark Snyder.  Jeff Connors of Audio PA Systems will provide the sound for the event.

Tickets are only $25. A coffee and sumptuous dessert buffet from sponsor in Stoughton will be featured for guests. Information and a ticket order form is at www.stoughtonma.com
