2. Another busy day at the

There is plenty to do at the Library this afternoon and evening.  From 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. there is a Holiday Craft Program for young adults; the Chess Club meets from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; Teddybear Storytime is available from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. for children ages 3 1/2 to 6; the Literacy Volunteers (LVM) will be holding a Conversation Class from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Conference Room; and Rabbi Daniel Kaplan is giving a presentation on "Jewish & Christian Contrasts in Literature" from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.

3.  Events at the Senior Center/Council on Aging

The Walking Club is meeting at 9:00 a.m. at Lowe Avenue; from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. there is a Total Body Conditioning Class; from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. there is a Legal Advice session with Barry Crimmins; from 10:30 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. there is a Senior Serenader Coral Practice; the movie "The Bucket List" is showing at 12:30 p.m.; and from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. there is a Strength Training Class. 

4.  What's on tap for SHS Sports?

The  wrestling team hosts Oliver Ames High School tonight at 7:00 p.m.

5.  Santa Claus is coming to town (again)!

A week from tomorrow (Thursday, December 23)  will be taping their SMAC TV show with special guest Santa Claus.  They would like to have 20-25 children come and give Santa their wish list.  The show tapes at 3:30 p.m. in Easton at 50 Oliver Street.  Contact host Dori Frankel at 781-341-0856 if you are interested in coming to next week's show.  Or send an email to CommunityForum1@yahoo.com.
