1. Stoughton Business Collecting Food for Pantries

Drop off any canned goods or non-perishable items at (770 Washington St. in the downtown) and they will match it during the months of December, January and February.

2. Girl Scout Cookies on Sale

Stoughton Girl Scout  will be selling Girl Scout cookies at this evening from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at both doors.

3. Senior Center Events

  • 9 a.m. - Walking Club
  • 9 a.m. - 10 a.m. - Total Body Conditioning
  • 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Strength & Tone
  • 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Bridge
  • 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. - Gentle Yoga
  • 12:30 p.m. - MOVIE: "Love's Kitchen"
  • LUNCH (11:15 a.m.) - Low Sodium Hot Dog

4. Winter Parking Regulations

Winter Parking Regulations are currently in effect, and will continue until April 1, 2012. 

There is no overnight street parking allowed between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. from December 1 to April 1.

There is a $15 fine for violating the winter parking ban and the vehicle is subject to be towed at the owner's expense.

5. Stoughton High Cheerleading Bottle and Can Drive

The following announcement is from STOYAC:

The have qualified for the National Cheerleading Championships being held in Florida.

To raise money for this very expensive trip the girls are having various fundraisers to secure the financing to attend Nationals.

This Saturday, February 4, the high school cheerleaders will be holding a bottle and can drive at the from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
