1. Board of Selectmen Meeting

The Board of Selectmen meet Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the (third floor, Great Hall).

Among the topics of discussion: the town manager ; the dispute between the and the town; and a review of articles for the Town Meeting warrant.

2. Sports on Tap

Both the Stoughton High boys' and girls' basketball teams take on Oliver Ames Tuesday evening. The boys are on the road, while the girls are home.

The Stoughton varsity boys (13-1) are looking for a season sweep over Oliver Ames, having already beat the Tigers earlier this season at SHS. The girls will be looking to avenge their loss to the Lady Tigers at OA.

• 3:30 p.m. - boys' freshmen basketball at OA
• 3:30 p.m. - girls' freshmen basketball vs. OA
• 5 p.m. - boys' JV basketball at OA
• 5 p.m. - girls' JV basketball vs. OA

3. STOYAC Softball Registration

Girls' 2012 STOYAC Softball Registration is being held Tuesday, February 7 at the from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Cost is $80 per player with a $200 maximum per family. All registrations after February 7 will have a $10 late fee.

5. Superintendent Looking for Parent Input for Stoughton High Principal Search

Superintendent of Schools Dr. Marguerite Rizzi will be conducting a wide search for a new principal at , a process that will include a parent perspective.

The focus group will help to identify what parents are looking for in the new SHS Principal, prior to the paper screening and interview process.  

There are two sessions, as follows:

• Session 1: 6:00 – 7:15 p.m.

• Session 2: 7:30 – 8:45 p.m.
