1. Informational Meeting for Prospective Town Meeting Representatives
Long time Stoughton Town Meeting Moderator Howard Hansen is running an information session for Stoughton residents interested in becoming a Town Meeting representative.

The meeting is Monday, January 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria.
Due to redistricting, all of the 168 Town Meeting seats are up for re-election this April. Nomination papers for Town Meeting Representatives must be at the Town Clerk's Office at by 4:30 p.m. on February 21. Nominees need to receive at least 15 signatures from registered voters in their precinct.

2. Homework Center at the Library
The Homework Center will be available for students in the Wales French room of the this evening from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
3. Senior Center Activities
- 9 a.m. - Walking Club
- 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Tai Chi
- 9 a.m. - Coffee with Karen
- 10:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Line Dancing
- 2 p.m. - 3p.m. - Strength Training
- LUNCH (11:15 p.m.) - Potato Crunch Fish
4. Winter Parking Regulations
Winter Parking Regulations are currently in effect, and will continue until April 1, 2012.
There is no overnight street parking allowed between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. from December 1 to April 1.
There is a $15 fine for violating the winter parking ban and the vehicle is subject to be towed at the owner's expense.
5. Reminder: Thursday is Food Pantry Day in Stoughton
Stoughton resident continues her effort to in Stoughton, personally picking up donations for the food pantries every Thursday.
Here's a note from Peg: "I pick up non perishable food and also household items every Thursday, anywhere in Stoughton and deliver them to the food pantry. Please tell your friends and neighbors. One item, one bag or several, and I will pick them up every Thursday."
"The winter months are upon us and they are especially tough months for the folks who shop at the pantries," Carbone continued. "Heating bills make buying good nourishing food difficult or impossible."
