1. Stoughton - Route 138 Bottleneck Study Workshop

This Wednesday, January 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the (3rd Floor, Great Hall), the Old Colony Planning Council is hosting a Route 138 Bottleneck Study Workshop.

2. 6th Grade Winter Concert

The 6th Grade Winter Concert will be held at on Wednesday, January 25.

The concert will feature the 6th Grade choruses, directed by Betty Bauman; the 6th Grade Concert Bands directed by Stephen Dorgan, Jaclyn Sly, and Andrew Davey, and the OMS 6th Grade Jazz Band directed by Stephen Dorgan.

The concert will be held in the high school auditorium and will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for all three concerts will be available at the door only. Ticket prices are $2 for adults, $1 for seniors and children, with a family maximum of $5.

3. Chinese New Year Crafts at the YMCA

This Wednesday, January 25 from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., join the (in the lobby of the 445 Central St. building) for Chinese New Year activities, crafts and snacks. Come learn about the Year of the Dragon.

4. Stoughton Business Collecting Food for Pantries

Drop off any canned goods or non-perishable items at (770 Washington St. in the downtown) and they will match it during the months of December, January and February.

It will go directly to the Stoughton food banks to help those in need.

5. Sports on Tap

  • 5:45 p.m. - boys' JV wrestling vs. Franklin
  • 6:30 p.m. - boys' varsity swimming vs. North Attleboro
  • 6:30 p.m. - girls' varsity swimming vs. North Attleboro
  • 7 p.m. - boys' varsity wrestling vs. Franklin
  • 8 p.m. - boys' varsity hockey at Franklin
