1. Spring Fling Art Show and Concert

The Fine Arts Department will present its 2012 Spring Fling Art Show and Concert on Friday, May 11.

The Art Show will begin at 6 p.m. The concert portion will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the SHS auditorium.

Tickets will be available at the door only. Adults $5, seniors and children $3, with a family maximum of $10.

2. Live Music at Town Spa

Nicole Caramanica and Joe Kidd of Double Impact entertain with music at Henry's Downstairs Lounge at  Friday evening from 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

There is a limited menu and full bar; 21+ (id's required and checked at door).

This is the conclusion of the first season of live entertainment at Town Spa's new lounge. Entertainment will return in September.

3. Register for Stoughton High Baseball and Football Alumni Events

The Stoughton High baseball program is holding an alumni game May 12, while the SHS Gridiron Club is holding a golf tournament June 9 at Cedar Hill. Registration details can be found here:

4. Looking Ahead: "Check Please" SHS Drama Production

Students from Stoughton High will be putting on a production of "Check Please" this Saturday and Sunday.

The comedy will be shown Saturday, May 12 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and a late Sunday matinee performance at 5 p.m.

General admission is $8; students are $7; and kids 12 and under for $5; The play is approximately 40 minutes in length.

5. Looking Ahead: Group Bike Ride

(From About Town):

On Saturday, May 12, a Group Bike Ride is planned to join a massive gathering of bike riders at DW Field Park, on Oak Street in Brockton in celebration of BikeWeek. 

Plan to meet at 9 a.m. at the Stoughton DPW headquarters, 950 Central Street, Stoughton, for a 3.5 mile ride to DPW Field.
