Gallery: Stoughton's 4th of July Parade (2012)

Photo highlights from Stoughton's annual July 4th parade.

Despite a rainy start to the day and thunderstorms which interrupted Boston's July 4th celebration in the evening, the weather cooperated for Stoughton's annual Independence Day parade, held the afternoon of July 4.

The parade included the Stoughton Police and Fire departments, as well as the fire departments from a number of neighboring towns; vehicles from the Stoughton Department of Public Works; town and local politicians; local businesses, championship youth sports teams; marching bands; and a collection of unique, and in some cases, antique vehicles.

Hundreds of people lined Park Street and Washington Street to catch all of the parade action.
