Man Facing OUI Charges In Crash That Killed Stoughton Couple
Police said Ralph Frontino, 61, was driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed into Al and Aldina Pedro's motorcycle.
STOUGHTON, MA — A Stoughton man was arrested Thursday morning in connection to a crash on Washington Street last month that left two people dead.
Ralph Frontino, 61, was charged with two counts of negligent motor vehicle homicide while operating under the influence, and a count each of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and marked lane violations.
The crash happened on June 28 and killed couple, Al Pedro, 50, and Aldina Pedro, 51, both of Stoughton, when their motorcycle collided with Frontino's Corolla, police said. Police said the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Washington Street. The Norfolk County District Attorney's office said the motorcycle was driving north and Corolla south, and a preliminary investigation indicates the crash happened in the northbound lane.
