Man Falls out of Tree in Stoughton; Two Injured in Two-Car Accident at T.J. Maxx

One man was transported to Good Samaritan after falling out of a tree Wednesday night, while two were transported to Good Samaritan following a two-car accident Wednesday night. All injuries were considered to be non life-threatening.

The received a call at 11:47 p.m. on August 29 reporting that a man had fallen out of a tree at 701 Washington St., SFD Captain Doug Campbell said.

A SFD engine and ambulance responded to the scene. A 25-year-old male was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with non life-threatening injuries, Campbell said.

The tree itself was about 40 feet high, Campbell said. but it is unknown how far up the tree the man was when he fell.

Earlier Wednesday evening, at 8:41 p.m., the Stoughton and Avon Fire Departments responded to a two-car accident in the parking lot of the RK Plaza on Park St. in Stoughton.

An Avon ambulance transported two patients to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with non life-threatening injuries, Campbell said.

Both patients came from the same car - the vehicle that was hit, Campbell said.

The accident took place in the T.J. Maxx section of the parking lot.
