No Injuries in Car Fire on Route 24 in Stoughton
The car was deemed a total loss, however. The car fire occurred on April 21 on Route 24 South in Stoughton.
A Brockton man's vehicle caught on fire on Route 24 in Stoughton early Saturday morning, but luckily the man walked away with no reported injuries.
The responded to the scene to extinguish a "fully involved car fire" on Route 24 South by IKEA at 3:30 a.m. on April 21, according to SFD Captain Bob O'Donnell.
The driver of a 1998 Volkswagon Beetle reported mechanical problems just before the vehicle caught on fire, O'Donnell wrote in an email.

While no injuries were reported, the vehicle was deemed a "total loss," O'Donnell said.
Lt. Jim Curtin, firefighters Mike Schifone and Steve Peck and SFD Engine 4 responded to the call.
