One Man Killed, Another Injured In Randolph Country Club Shooting

A man is facing life-threatening injuries and another is dead after a shooting near Mojito Country Club on July 4.

RANDOLPH, MA — One man was killed and another was seriously hurt in a shooting on July 4 outside of a country club in Randolph, Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey said.

Ivanildo Cabral, 29, of Worcester, was killed in the shooting, the Norfolk District Attorney's Office said. The second shooting victim is now in stable condition but remains hospitalized.

Police responded to a report of a shooting outside Mojito Country Club on Mazzeo Drive around 8 p.m. Monday night and immediately sent two men to the hospital.

According to an Instagram post, Mojitos was holding a Fourth of July pool party set for families with live music at the time of the shooting.

It's believed that both men left the club around the same time as other men just before 8 p.m. and exchanged words with them before the shooting, Morrissey said.

Police did want to reassure that there is no ongoing threat to the public at this time.
