• Woman shot near apartment complex in Canton; residents urged to shelter in place (bostonglobe.com) — Residents near the Canton–Stoughton line were urged to shelter in place Monday night after a woman was shot while waiting in a vehicle near Canton Woods and Lamplighter Village apartments. State Police and Stoughton officers responded, and Route 138 was temporarily discouraged for travel as police searched for a young male suspect who fled the scene.
