• Change of venue hearing for Matthew Farwell moved to end of January (wcvb.com) — The change-of-venue hearing for former Stoughton police officer Matthew Farwell, charged in connection with the death of Sandra Birchmore, has been postponed to Jan. 20. Birchmore first met Farwell through the Stoughton Explorers youth program, and investigators allege years of abuse tied to his role as a Stoughton officer, making this case especially significant for local residents.
