Pedestrian Struck By Car Friday Morning in Stoughton
A 17-year-old was transported to the hospital after being hit by a slow moving car Friday morning. Stoughton Police and Fire responded.

A 17-year-old male pedestrian was transported to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton Friday morning after being struck by a car in Stoughton, according to Executive Officer Robert Devine of the Stoughton Police.
The accident occurred at Canton and School Streets at 7:11 a.m. on April 13.
Luckily, the car was traveling at a slow speed when the pedestrian was hit, Devine said.

The pedestrian sustained a leg injury.
No citations have been issued at this time, according to Devine, as it appears as if the pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when he was hit, but the incident is under investigation.

Stoughton Police and Fire responded to the scene. The pedestrian was transported by the SFD to GSMC.
