Police Issue Alert After Multiple Break-ins Reported in Stoughton Neighborhood
There have been several break-ins in homes and cars in the Atkinson Ave./Daly Dr. area of town over the last week and a half, according to Police.

Stoughton Police issued an alert on the Department's Facebook page on Monday, following a string of reported break-ins in the Atkinson Ave./Daly Dr. area of town.
Executive Officer Robert Devine said there have been three house break-ins in that neighborhood over the course of the last week and a half and a few car break-ins as well.
He said in most cases jewelry was taken from these homes.

Devine also noted that most of these break-ins weren't forced; the doors were left unlocked. The break-ins remain under investigation, he said.
He reminds residents to lock their doors and to find a safe place to store their valuables.

"Please be vigilant in these neighborhoods," the Stoughton Police Facebook Page states. "If someone looks out of place, don't hesitate to call."
"If you see something, say something," Police Chief Paul Shastany added.
