Police Log: Two Arrested on Drug Charges in Stoughton
The following information was provided by the Stoughton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate conviction.

Monday, Aug. 25
At 1:39 a.m., a caller reported to Stoughton police that her vehicle had been damaged in the area of Wheeler Circle.
At 8:58 a.m., police received a report that a vehicle had been entered overnight on Elm Street. The vehicle was reportedly unlocked at the time, but the vehicle’s owner reported that nothing had been taken and there was no visible damage to the car.

At 9:13 a.m., a caller reported items had been dumped onto her lawn.
At 10:04 a.m. police responded to Pages Deli on Pearl Street, where they arrested Carol Callahan, 57, of Stoughton for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

At 10:20 a.m., police received a report of damage to a vehicle on Brock Street, and subsequently issued a summons to a Stoughton resident for malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
At 11:08 a.m., police received a report of a suspicious-looking man in the area of Golden Road, where he reportedly rang a doorbell before going into the backyard of a nearby home. Police later located a man fitting the suspect’s description riding a bike on Lincoln street.
At 3:03 p.m., police received a report of a suspicious-looking man in the area of Buckley Road walking a dog. Police responded and subsequently arrested Michael Hanley, 30, of Braintree, for possession of a Class A drug.
At 8:11 p.m., police responded to a report of an unresponsive person in a motor vehicle near LA Fitness on Hawes Way. Officers arrested Daniel Primo, 34, of Hingham, on charges of possession of a Class E drug.
At 10:46 p.m., police responded to Mr Chefs on Washington Street, where they issued a summons to a Stoughton woman for larceny from a building.
Tuesday, Aug. 26
At 1:29 p.m., police received a report of a fake $20 that had been found at IKEA. Officers responded to obtain the money.
At 5:27 p.m., a caller reported copper pipes had been stolen in the area of Duggan Street.
At 5:54 p.m., a caller told police her cell phone had been stolen from IKEA and she had traced it to a location on Camelot Court.
At 6:20 p.m., police responded to a report of a minor vehicular accident near Cumberland Farms on Washington Street. Officers issued a summons to a Stoughton man for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
