STOUGHTON, MA — Several people were taken to the hospital after a serious car crash on Turnpike Street in Stoughton Wednesday morning, according to police. Turnpike Street was closed at Pleasant Street and Page Street and Route 139 traffic will be detoured down Maple Street to Page Street, police said. The investigation is expected to last several hours, according to police. The injuries are serious, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
