Son Convicted Of Selling Cocaine With Father Gets Prison Time
Larry Lovell Bailey was sentenced to nearly four years behind bars.

BOSTON, MA — A Randolph man who took part in a drug trafficking operation with his father was sent behind bars Thursday.
Larry Lovell Bailey, 42, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Boston to 46 months in prison and three years of probation. Bailey was also ordered to forfeit $300,000, a vehicle and other property. In March 2016, Bailey pleaded guilty to possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute, according to the U.S. Attorney's office.
Bailey and his father, Larry Bailey, were among 55 members and associates of the Columbia Point Dogs street gang who were arrested in 2015 on various racketeering, drug trafficking, and firearms charges.

The U.S. Attorney's office says that the father-son team used Finest Cuts barbershop on Blue Hill Avenue and Bailey’s Laundromat on Harrison Avenue to distribute cocaine and cocaine base. During the investigation, law enforcement determined that Bailey was cooking cocaine base at his residence in Randolph.
A search warrant executed at Bailey’s residence resulted in the seizure of cocaine base, powder cocaine, drug trafficking paraphernalia, a loaded .40 caliber handgun and over $300,000 in cash.

His father pleaded guilty in February to conspiracy to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine and was sentenced to 46 months in prison.
