Stoughton's Starline Academy Musical Theatre and Drama Teens to Present Year End Shows
Starline Academy Musical Theatre and Drama Teens will present selections from A Chorus Line, Fame, Footloose and Sleeping Beauty.

End of the year shows will be presented by students of The Starline Academy for the Performing Arts in Stoughton.
"A TOTAlLY 80"s Musical Revue" featuring musical selections from A CHORUS LINE, FAME and FOOTLOOSE will be presented by The Teen Musical Theatre Production class of The Starline Academy for the Performing Arts this Saturday, May 19 at 7 p.m.

A CHORUS LINE with lyrics written by Edward Kleban and music by Marvin Hamlisch will include What I Did for Love, Nothing, I Can Do That, At the Ballet and One. These numbers were made famous in the Broadway opening in 1975 then again in 1985 for the film adaptation.
FAME, debuting in 1980 with lyrics by Jacques Levy and music by Steve Margoshes will feature Pray I Make P.A.,I Want to Make Magic, Lets Play A Love Scene, Bring on Tomorrow as well as the title number Fame.

Opening on Broadway in 1984, Footloose features such hits as Let's Hear it for the Boy, Holding Out For a Hero, Somebody's Eyes and the title Footloose which was written by Kenny Loggins.
The Teen Musical Theatre production class includes Anna Ignatyev, Samantha Langmead, Brenda Lambert, Shayla Shedin, Kayla Medeiros and Lana
D'Addiecco all of Stoughton. Also starring will be Kassie Orton of Attleboro, Sabrina Gamm of Sharon and Mikeighla Droney of Easton.
Directed by Lauren Kenny with Choreography by Ariana Kampanelas, the show will be held at The Paris Cabaret, 49 Monk St. Stoughton. The public is invited with admission $12.00 at the door or by making advance reservations at 781-297-SHOW(7469).
The following week on Thursday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m. The Teen Drama Class will present the most memorable story of Sleeping Beauty.
The Sleeping Beauty written in French by Charles Perrault or Little Briar Rose in German by the Brothers Grimm is a classic fairytale involving a
beautiful princess, enchantment of sleep, and a handsome prince. Written as an original literary tale, it was first published in 1697.
This class under the direction of instructor Joyce MacPhee includes Samantha Langmead, Amanda Doherty, Madison Rosbach, Sarah Ferzoco, Jaclyn
Evangelista of Stoughton with Leanna Ugent, Epfrayim Sperber of Sharon and Taylor Grossman of Brockton.
Admission is also $12.00 at the door. Both shows will hold a small reception of refreshments after the show.
