Stoughton Youth Commission Looking to Help Park St. Fire Victims
The Stoughton Youth Commission will be collecting donations until June 1 for the five families displaced by the recent Park St. fire.

The Town of Stoughton's Youth Commission, through the Stoughton Youth Resources, is looking to help the families displaced by the , which significantly damaged the multi-unit residence.
Five families and 17 people in all were displaced, according to Stoughton Fire Department officials and the Red Cross.
The Stoughton Youth Commission, according to a release, is seeking cash, checks, or gift card donations, which will be split equally between the five families.

"Many of the families have lost everything," according to the release.
The Stoughton Youth Commission will be collecting donations until June 1, and then will be dispersing these donations to the families on June 4.
Suggestions for gift cards, according to the release: Target; Walmart; Sears; IKEA; Stop & Shop; Shaw’s; Visa gift cards; and American Express gift cards.

Cash donations can be made at the , 110 Rockland Street or the on Park St. at the front desk (a receipt will be provided).
Checks should be made payable to the Stoughton Youth Resources and mailed to the Youth Commission/Senior Center building at 110 Rockland Street.
