Suspect Broke Into CVS Through Roof, Police Say

Police are now searching for the man, who fled through a door in the back of the building.

STOUGHTON, MA — A person broke into the CVS on Central Street not through a door but from above, police said.

Police responded to the early morning alarm and were able to locate "an unidentifiable man" through the drive-thru window. The suspect escaped through a back door and police were unable to find the man once he got outside.

Police learned during their investigation that the intruder gained access to the store by cutting a hole in the roof with various tools, according to a brief statement.
