The Beatles are Coming to Stoughton

This Friday, May 18, a Beatles cover band will be performing at the Stoughton High Auditorium. This concert is a fundraiser for the Stoughton Schools Music Department's P.O.P.S. organization (Parents Of Performing Students).

On Friday, May 18th, at 7:30 p.m. the Beatles are Coming to the in the form of BEATLE JUICE, THE CONCERT! BEATLE JUICE is the #1 Choice Beatles Tribute Band in the Commonwealth for over 16 years.

The late Brad Delp, who was the lead singer and original member of BEATLE JUICE, was also the lead singer for the great 70's rock band, BOSTON!

John Muzzy, known to all as "Muzz," is the drummer and an original member of BEATLE JUICE.  He was also a founding member of another 70's group, "Farrenheit," along with Dave Hull (Joe Perry Project).  ”Juice in the Machine," a Police/Sting cover band also featured many of the BEATLE JUICE members. 

BEATLE JUICE covers every era of the Beatles catalog and on to the solo careers of the boys from Liverpool.  They will have people on their feet dancing and singing along.

Tickets for this FAB concert are $25 and a what's even better, this concert is a fundraiser for P.O.P.S. (Parents Of Performing Students), which will directly benefit the Stoughton School Music Department!

"My partner  and I wanted to produce a fabulous show for all ages here in Stoughton, using the SHS auditorium, that would also benefit our school's music department." said Terry Schneider, founder of Kitchen Sink Productions (KSP).

"So, we contacted Mr. John Kearns, who heads up the fine arts department, and ran the idea by him.  Mr. Kearns suggested why don't we have some of our SHS music students open for BEATLE JUICE, which we thought was a great idea," Schneider continued. 

Schneider added, "After some dotting of the i's and crossing of the t's, we came up with a working partnership between the schools and my production company, working through the P.O.P.S. organization,  for a benefit concert."

Schneider's KSP partner,  Jeff Connors,  has 35 years of professional sound experience and has worked with several bands through the years.  Connors owns Audio PA Systems and has been the sound guy for many a show including working with Lori McKenna, Livingston Taylor and many others.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. with SHS Music Students taking the stage.  BEATLE JUICE will follow at 8 p.m.  

Tickets can be purchased from the Fine Arts Office,  at the O'Donnell Middle School, 211 Cushing St., 781-344-7002 x 6171 (please make check out to “P.O.P.S.”) or online at KitchenSinkProductions.biz.

And, tickets can be purchased at the door, the night of the show.
