WATCH: Donation Box For Charity Taken From Stoughton Store

Wednesday, a person walked into the Seasons Corner Market at Cobbs Cornet and took the box filled with money, according to police.

STOUGHTON, MA — A man was caught on camera taking a charity collection box meant for a humanitarian aid and charitable organization, police said.

At about 3:05 a.m. Wednesday, a person walked into the Seasons Corner Market at Cobbs Corner and took the box filled with money, according to the Stoughton Police Department.

The box was for Boots On The Ground, a charitable organization that's "dedicated to empowering veterans and qualified civilians to provide in-field emergency and primary medical care, and other assistance required to sustain life, facilitate recovery, and to encourage and promote long-term development, stability, and peace in underserved areas of the world,” according to the Stoughton Police Department.
