The Goddard School of Sudbury is owned by Pakistani-born Farzeen Fareed. She has extensive experience in early childhood education, having run her own home-based childcare for 24 years. This is a family affair for Fareed, who is partnering with her four children to open the school. Fareed and her children, all of whom are engineers, are passionate about and understand the importance of including science technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) in early childhood education.

“I love everything about Goddard—from the education and learning philosophy offered to young children, the focus on STEAM for all age groups, the quality insurance program to make sure each and every child is receiving the best education in a safe and secure environment and everything in between—and I’m so proud to offer this premier learning experience to area families,” said Fareed. “The support offered to franchisees and continuous educational development for teachers will enable my staff and I to provide the highest quality early childhood education to our students.”

The Goddard School of Sudbury remains committed to ensuring a safe, high quality learning experience and have implemented health and safety protocols such as health checks before entry, virtual tours, professional cleanings each night and the latest sanitization technologies. In addition to the heightened health and safety protocols Goddard Schools across the country have implemented since the start of the pandemic, this new location is using the ZONO Disinfecting and Sanitizing Cabinet to sanitize any shared materials used daily by children, such as toys and building materials.

Located at 437 Boston Post Road, this new 15,000-square-foot early childhood education center is equipped with an indoor gym and two outdoor playgrounds with state-of-the-art equipment. The 14 classrooms have enough space to provide care for and educate about 166 infants through pre-kindergarteners. The Goddard School of Sudbury is also adding over 30 teaching jobs to the community.

The newest Goddard School is the 17th to open in Massachusetts and joins nearly 600 franchised locations in 37 states and Washington, D.C. The school is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
