SUDBURY, MA — This week, the public has two chances to get involved in the search for Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School Superintendent Bella Wong's replacement.

Wong spent the last decade as the school's superintendent and principal, but announced in October she would step down at the end of the 2022-23 school year. Wong began her education career at LSRHS more than two decades ago as a science teacher.

The LSRHS School Committee has formed a subcommittee to search for Wong's replacement. Part of the search process involves getting feedback from the public about what qualities they want in a new superintendent.

"We welcome participation from families and community members from Sudbury to help us understand their desires and concerns about the next leader for L-S," Search Committee Chair Kevin Matthews, who is a Sudbury representative on the school committee.

The two forums will be held online on Wednesday and Thursday:

"It is and always has been a special privilege to be a part of preparing you for your future selves. Every day brings a fresh challenge and things to learn. I look forward to what this final year will hold for us," Wong said in an October farewell message.
