Are Kids OK? Panel In Sudbury Will Cover Children’s Issues
The "Are the Kids OK?" discussion with local experts will air Thursday night on SudburyTV.

SUDBURY, MA — Between the pandemic, technology, global conflicts and just the trials of everyday life, are our kids OK? A panel discussion in Sudbury Thursday will attempt to answer that question and more.
The League of Women Voters of Sudbury have assembled local experts to discuss current children's issues, ranging from school pressure to coping with mental health. The experts will also discuss ways parents can talk to children about tough issues.
The discussion will include the panelists:

- Jamie Micco, co-director of the Concord Center and a licensed clinical psychologist, who specializes in mental health issues related to the pandemic and social media
- Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School wellness teacher Sarah Greeley
- Sudbury Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) parent representative Maia Proujansky-Bell
- Sudbury Police Chief Scott Nix
- Advocates clinician Taylor Hayden, who works with Sudbury police on mental health calls
- League member Julie Dereshinsky will moderate
"Spotlight on: Youth Mental Health" will air on SudburyTV (Comcast channel 8, Verizon channel 31) beginning at 8 p.m. Thursday. The program will also be available on-demand on the SudburyTV website.
