SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury will begin resurfacing and repaving projects along two main roads next week, which will mean detours for all but local drivers.

The projects along Pratts Mill and Goodman's Hill roads will start Monday. The town will first spend three days resurfacing starting with Pratts Mill and then moving to Goodman's Hill for another three days.

After resurfacing, road crews will move back to Pratts Mill for three days of repaving, and then move to Goodman's Hill for three more days of repaving, according to the town.

Those estimates are weather-dependent, however.

"During construction these roads will be open to local traffic and closed to through traffic. We advise residents seek alternate routes during this time and allow more time for your commute due to possible delays," the Sudbury Department of Public Works said in a bulletin this week.
