SUDBURY, MA — Visits and pictures with Santa are treasured traditions for many Sudbury families. For them, there’s nothing quite like seeing jolly old St. Nick live and in person.

In Sudbury, kids have several chances:

  • Home for the Holidays in Marlborough on Dec. 1
  • Holiday Favorites at the Candy Mansion in Shrewsbury during December
  • Winter Stroll, Light Parade, and Rotary Club Winter Lights Tree Lighting in Westborough on Nov. 26
  • Photos with Santa at the BORO Sugar Shack in Westborough on Dec. 10
  • Santa Photo Experience at the Auburn Mall starting Nov. 22
  • Tree Lighting Ceremony & Holiday Block Party in Framingham on Dec. 1
  • Milford Christmas Tree Lighting on Dec. 1
  • Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting at Wayland Town Center

    • Santa arrived Nov. 5 at Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Santa’s Wonderland and will hold court through Christmas Eve. Reservations are encouraged.

    Santa will also be at Macy’s stores in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Philadelphia and Orlando. In Massachusetts, Santa will be at Macy's Boston starting on Nov. 11. Reservations are required. Go to Macy's website for more information.

    Santa is coming to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores on Black Friday, which is Nov. 24 this year. Nordstrom Rack's nearest locations are in Millbury and Framingham.

    JC Penney stores, including stores in Marlborough, are offering professional portraits with Santa through Dec. 18.
