1 Dead, 4 Injured In Overnight Lynn Shooting

Violence erupted at a cookout on Fayette Street Saturday night.

LYNN, MA — One person is dead and four more injured after being shot during a cookout Saturday night.

Essex District Attorney Jonathan Blodgett and Lynn Police Chief Michael Mageary said the shooting took place near 134 Fayette St. around 10.

Noe Hernandez, 35, of Lynn, was identified as the man who died. Another man was flown to a Boston hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made.
