Curbside Christmas Tree Pickup Details in Swampscott

That Christmas tree that once proclaimed holiday cheer in your living room is now just a prickly floorspace hog dropping dried needles on your floor.

The vacuum can’t take it anymore.

Luckly, Swampscott has schedule two weeks for curbside Christmas tree pickup:

• The first week of January (Jan. 4-8)
• The first week of February Feb. (1-5)

Trees will be collected on your normal recycling day during the weeks listed above. Place your tree curbside -- be sure to remove ornaments, lights, garland, the stand, etc. -- by 7 a.m. on your pickup day.
