Finals-Bound: Swampscott Boys' Soccer Team Wins Semifinal Match
The Big Blue had to overcome No. 1-seeded Wayland to earn a spot in the finals. The finals match will be played Sunday afternoon.
The Swampscott boys’ soccer team is headed to the finals of the Division 4 North MIAA tournament.
On Wednesday, the boys topped the No. 1-seed Wayland Warriors, the defending division 3 state champs.
Swampscott (4) came away with a 3-1 win on Wednesday afternoon to secure its spot in the divisional finals against Wakefield (11).

Swampscott had a first-round bye and then fought to an overtime win against Burke (5) in the quarterfinals before clashing with Wayland on Veterans Day in the semifinals.
The finals will be played Sunday at 11 a.m. at Manning Field in Lynn.
