Heavy Rain, 50 MPH Winds to Hit Swampscott: Hourly Forecast
Flooded roads and power outages are possible.

Swampscott will get drenched with heavy rain Wednesday night into Thursday.
About 2 inches of rain is expected; thunderstorms are likely early Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service. A wind advisory and coastal flood advisory were also issued, as gusts are expected to hit 50 mph and roads and parking lots along the coast will likely experience minor inundation. Flooded roads and power outages are possible.

The National Weather Service warns of “several weather threats,” including heavy rains, high winds and flooding.
