High Wind Advisory for Swampscott Tuesday

While a dense fog advisory was issued for all of Eastern Massachusetts until 7 p.m. Monday night, a wind advisory has now been issued for Tuesday.

The wind advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday with winds expected to reach 15 to 25 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph Tuesday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

These strong wind gusts could result in downed tree limbs and isolated power outages.
