How does a garden grow?

Fingers crossed… we believe the Swampscott Garden Art Walk will be in “full bloom” on Saturday.

This post is not about the actual flower - this post is about the Master Gardeners who cultivated the flower - Heidi and Ingrid of ReachArts. What we do not see is the tilling of the soil, the sowing of the seeds, the weeding, and the watering. In addition to Heidi and Ingrid’s creative prowess, they have expertise in logistical matters such as grant writing, IT support, legal and accounting reports, and more.

And what is most amazing to me is that these Master Gardeners tend to the garden year-round (unlike some of us who are spent after one bloom!). Our community garden has interest all four seasons of the year.
