Loud Kids and Missing Bikes

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police log:
Monday, July 18
- At 12:42 a.m. a resident reported a bike was dumped in her yard. Officers found the bike was trash.
- At 7:21 a.m. a truck took down wires on Loring Avenue.
- 10:15 a.m. reported someone had shot BBs through the window.
- At 5:24 p.m. a resident called police about a male passed out at the wheel on Ellis Road. When police arrived they found the man was taking a nap.
- At 9:36 p.m. police responded to a Grant Road home after a man fell and cut his head in his backyard. The man was transported to Salem Hospital.

- At 11:52 a.m. a Phillips Avenue resident reported receiving harassing phone calls.Â
- At 4:09 p.m. police responded to the pier for a report of kids on the pier interfering with boat traffic.
- 8:33 p.m. police received a call about fireworks going off in the Sherwood Road area.
Thursday, July 21
- 12:29 a.m. police received a call about a group of kids being loud in a pool on Morningside Drive.
- At 5:57 p.m. police took a report of two stolen bikes on Humphrey Street.
Saturday, July 23

- Two bikes were reported stolen on Humphrey Street at 8:05 p.m.
- Officers responded to a report of a loud party on Humphrey Street at 10:07 p.m.
Sunday, July 24
- A Marblehead resident called Swampscott Police asking if they had found his missing black Border Collie. Police had not found the dog but took down his information.
- At 10:03 a.m. police and fire assisted a motorist on Gooseneck Lane with a 3-year-old locked inside a running vehicle.
- At 3:34 p.m. a lifeguard on Puritan Road called police about a possibly sick cat walking on Animal Control was notified.
- Police checked Longwood Drive at 7:30 p.m. for a report of kids drinking outside. No kids were found when police arrived.
- At 9:36 p.m. a stove fire was reported on Humphrey Street. Fire responded.
Monday, July 25
- At 8:41 a.m. police and fire responded to a Hemenway Road home for smoke in the house. The Fire Department found the smoke was coming from an overheated washing machine.
The following people were arrested in Swampscott from Monday through Tuesday:
- David Jesus Irizarry, 30, 134 Bartlett St., Brockton, was arrested Tuesday and charged with domestic assault and battery, witness intimidation and disorderly conduct.Â
- Yvette Hope, 43, 33 Curry Circle, Swampscott, was arrested Saturday and charged with domestic assault and battery, assault and battery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
- Heritier Kindoki, 47, 33 Curry Circle, Swampscott, was arrested Saturday and charged with assault and disturbing the peace.
