Man Buys 'Wrong' Syringes to Use for Heroin: Police Log

At 1:03 a.m., a burglar alarm came in to the Crown Pointe guard shack. Police checked it out and everything seemed secure.

At 9:24 a.m., a teacher at the Stanley School reported a coyote on Orchard Road at the end of Nason. Police were unable to locate the animal.
At 12:25 p.m., a caller reported that a man appeared to be passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle in the Paradise Citgo lot. The man was ok.

At 1:13 p.m., the owner of Luxe Beautique reported an employee had been stealing and requested to speak with an officer.
At 2:35 p.m., a Port-o-Potty was reported to be on a sidewalk and impeding pedestrian traffic; it was moved back onto the property.
At 9:57 p.m., an employee reported that a man came in a bought syringes. A short time later, he came back and said they were the wrong ones, but admitted he used them for heroin. He then went into the parking lot and was causing a disturbance. The individual was gone by the time police arrived.
