On Tuesday morning, Vaczy’s family told several Boston TV stations that her disappearance could be connected to Jaimee Mendez, a Swampscott mother that has been missing since Thursday evening.

Vaczy’s sister said Stephanie Vaczy and Mendez may both have last been seen with the same man, a level three sex offender.
