At 8:56 a.m., a man reported he was cooking breakfast when he heard his door alarm chime. When he looked in the hallway, he saw his front door closing, but didn’t see anyone.

At 2:17 p.m., two women came into the station to report fraudulent activity on both of their credit cards after using them at Gourmet Garden.

At 6:56 p.m., a caller reported smoke in the Petco building. Swampscott Fire was dispatched, but was unable to find anything amiss.
