Monday, May 28

  • At 2:47 p.m., a Paradise Road resident reported their speed pass was being used.
  • At 6:38 p.m., police responded to a report of an unruly passenger at the depot.
  • At 10:15 p.m., a noise complaint was reported on Erie Street.

  • At 9:30 a.m., a domestic incident was reported on Essex Street.
  • A low hanging wire was reported on Shelton Road at 10 a.m.
  • At 1:26 p.m. a "man acting odd" was reported walking near .
  • At 3:15 p.m., a boat trailer was reported in the road on Hawthorne Road.

Wednesday, May 30

  • At 12:10 a.m., police pulled over a white Crown Victoria vehicle that was flashing lights at passing drivers. Police thought the driver could be impersonating a police officer, according to police. The driver told police he was flashing the lights because they were not working properly.
  • At 6:11 a.m., a resident of Ocean View Road told police she started hearing sounds from trucks backing up on the movie set as early at 5:29 a.m. She wanted the time documented because they are not suppose to start work until 7 a.m. Police spoke with workers and found it was a garbage truck making noise.
  • At 11:25 a.m., a woman went into police station to report a white vehicle was following her around town.
  • A resident of Salem Street reported being assaulted by a contractor at his home at 12:37 p.m.

  • Two deer were reported running down Atlantic Avenue at 11:17 a.m.
  • Children on the rocks behind the church were reported at 1:36 p.m. on Humphrey Street.
  • At 4:47 p.m., a man wearing a hat and dragging a toddler was reported on Puritan Road. He was not there when police arrived.
  • At 7:45 p.m., a resident of Humphrey Street told police she believes someone is filing false animal complaints. 
  • A large coyote was reported on Buena Vista Street at 10:59 p.m.

Friday, June 1

  • A woman walking down Nason Road in pajamas with a hospital bracelet on was reported at 7:39 a.m. Police did not locate the woman.
  • Larceny was reported at at 2:42 p.m.
  • At 4:35 p.m., a resident told police someone backed into her car and refused to give their information.
  • At 8:48 p.m., a resident reported having problems with youths at the tennis courts. One youth allegedly kicked the resident's dog.
  • A person reported hearing screaming near the at 10:35 p.m. Police did not find anyone.

Saturday, June 2

  • At 12:29 a.m., a resident of Pleasant Street reported their neighbors were in their backyard with flashlights.
  • At 12:57 a.m., a caller reported falling into a hole under the train bridge. 
  • At 4:16 p.m., an off-duty officer reported his vehicle was struck by another car and then the driver took off. The off-duty officer caught up with the driver and exchanged papers.

Sunday, June 3

  • At 4:37 a.m., a resident of Bay View Avenue reported the neighbor's car has been idling in the driveway. Police checked and the neighbor had fallen asleep in their car.
  • At 5 p.m., a tree came down on Crosman Avenue. 

Monday, June 4

  • An odor of gun powder was reported in a vacant building on Burpee Road. The Fire Department responded.
  • One person was taken to the hospital after being struck by a car while walking on Humphrey Street at 9:29 a.m. 
  • A resident of Sampson Avenue reported a blasting complaint because the ground was shaking.
  • A resident of Orchard Tr., also reported a complaint about the ground shaking due to blasting.

The following person was arrested:

  • Julianna Fumara, 30, 23 Marchant Ave., Hyannisport, was arrested Friday and charged with shoplifting by asportation.
