Police Catch Drivers Operating Without License, On a Revoked Registration

Monday, Nov. 2

At 6:25 a.m., a caller reported he was flagged down by a man who claimed to be locked out of his car.

At 8:20 a.m., a person dropped off a set of keys found on the beach a few nights before.

At 9:20 a.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop and learned the vehicle was owned by a person with a suspended license. The officer confirmed the driver was the owner and issued a criminal summons for operating on a suspended license. The vehicle was towed.

Tuesday, Nov. 3

At 7:25 a.m., a motorist reported that her car stalled and she was unable to open her doors.

At 9:50 a.m., an administrator reported that a group of males refused to leave the soccer fields during school hours. School was not in session and the athletic department was contacted.

At 2:21 p.m., an officer conducted a motor vehicle stop and found the registration was revoked for failure to maintain insurance. The operator was issued a criminal summons for operating with a revoked registration as well as unregistered and uninsured. The owner of the vehicle was also mailed a citation.

At 4:02 p.m., a caller reported bicycles had been stolen from their garage.

At 5:29 p.m., a resident reported that two men came to the door and claimed to be from a roofing company, but they had no literature and did not offer a company name. The caller said they seemed nervous.
