Saugus Police Search For Suspect After 16-Year-Old Stabbed
A 16-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times inside a car in Saugus Thursday, now police are looking for the culprit.

SAUGUS, MA — Saugus police are investigating after a 16-year-old was stabbed multiple times Thursday.
Police received a call from a salon in Saugus Center just before 4 p.m. reporting a stabbing they say took place nearby. Once officers got to the salon, they say they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The unidentified boy was treated at the scene and taken to a local trauma center. There has been no update on the boy's condition.

Witnesses told WCVB they saw the boy's friend drive him down the road after the attack on Raddin Terrace, stopping by the salon to ask for help.
The boy's friend reportedly told a woman "Some guy told us to pull over. We pulled over and my friend unrolled the window, and he just came in and stabbed him," Boston 25 reported.

Multiple outlets reported seeing a neighbor's surveillance footage that shows the attacker standing on a sidewalk wearing a black hoodie. The video shows a white car coming up the roadway, the attacker going to the passenger side of the vehicle and apparently stabbing the victim inside the car, as a knife was apparently seen in the suspect's hands as he ran away.
Saugus police are investigating but say they don't believe the incident was a random act of violence.
The incident is under investigation by Saugus Police and State Police Detectives assigned to the Essex District Attorney's Office.
