Search Moves from Land to Water in Hunt for Swampscott Mother

The search resumed on Tuesday for a mother from Swampscott who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

State Police divers were searching a Lynn pond on Tuesday morning in the search for Jaimee Mendez, the Swampscott mother who was last seen 12 days ago.

The search was conducted in Floating Bridge Pond along Route 107 (Western Avenue) in Lynn, near the Salem city line, according to a NECN report.

Tuesday’s search follows a search last week involving dosens of officers combing through a wooded area off Technology Way in Salem, near the Swampscott and Lynn lines.
