Swampscott Approved For 8 New Liquor Licenses
The Massachusetts House of Representatives paved the way for Swampscott officials to dole out eight more liquor licenses in town.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA - After Swampscott residents voted to authorize the Board of Selectmen to petition the General Court to allow the board to issue eight additional all-liquor licenses, the measure has been approved by the Massachusetts House of Representatives, according to ItemLive.
Swampscott's 14 existing licenses, based on a population of about 14,000 residents, have already been spoken for.
